I have never done technical climbing, but I do have the impression that it would probably feel like a lot more of a production. Maybe worth it in some cases, but not my primary plan. I've already drafted a future letter, perhaps for next month, (good to have a backlog) and it's about free vs. technical.

Happy to learn you free climb. Technical gear is...cumbersome. And much less joyful.
